The Conch Ceviche was mixed with fresh conch flown in from the Bahamas, sweet peppers, tomatoes and onion marinated in lime and orange juices then served with tortilla chips. oysters served with cocktail sauce, horseradish and lemons. We decided to do a family style meal, sharing all of our dishes, starting with the oysters and conch ceviche. The drink was refreshing and light with a perfect amount of sweetness. All of us decided to start with the Berry Skinny Margarita, which is a mix of fresh seasonal berries, Salt Berry Tequila, agave and lime juice. It was the perfect breezy day to sit outside and sip on some delicious cocktails and have fresh seafood and brunch foods. When my friends and I decided to visit Cap’s, we went for Sunday brunch. The streetside bars and sidewalk tables allow for the casual atmosphere, while the food is anything but casual. Cap’s Steamer Bar & Grill aims for a casual atmosphere with elevated food. But that quickly turned around, at least for me, when it was revealed that Cap’s Steamer Bar & Grill would be taking over the outdoor bar and sidewalk space of the former MacDinton’s. Additionally, locker owners will get food and wine discounts, they will be able to call ahead to have their wine decanted, and there will be quarterly wine parties with the locker owners.
